Foster Smith, Reporter

This is freshman Foster Smith’s first year on Tatler, and as a reporter, she is most excited about being able to write and publish stories that she believes need to be heard. Currently, she plays volleyball at Memphis Juniors Volleyball Association, competing in Girls Junior Nationals this past summer. She also runs track when she isn’t playing volleyball. In the past, Foster has baked on Kids Baking Championship, on season eleven and Sweetsgiving, and competitively sailed. If she could teach a class at St. Mary’s, she would teach civics in eighth grade, even though she would like to be either a lawyer or surgeon in the future. On top of all that, she loves cats and owns one named Gulliver James (yes it’s a double name), whom she likes to dress up with a bowtie on both special and ordinary occasions.
