About the Contributor
Mathilde Wesson, Artist
Mathilde Wesson is a sophomore at St. Mary’s and excited to begin her first year on Tatler as an artist. Among her favorite activities are reading, sailing, drawing, and wandering around outside. Her favorite art mediums are ink and pastels. She is excited to leave her comfort zone and learn more about digital art and the process of creating an illustration in collaboration with a writer. Numbered among her favorite books are “A Confederacy of Dunces” by John Kennedy Toole, the “Monster” series by Naoki Urasawa, and “A World Without “ by Alan Weisman. Her favorite things to draw are screen captures from whatever movie or show she is watching.
