Festive Favorites of the Trader Joe’s 2025 Winter Lineup

The best time of the year has arrived – Trader Joe’s Winter lineup! All the festive favorites are returning, but the new 2025 drops are looking extra sweet. Whether you are stocking up for cozy nights, planning a festive party or looking for a perfect gift, Trader Joe’s has you covered. These are my top five recommendations:

5. Milk Chocolate Advent Calendar

Beginning in 1990, the Trader Joe’s Chocolate Advent Calendars have brought a fun surprise to each day of the Christmas season. This year, there are four new designs to choose from, which each include 24 fun, unique chocolates. From whimsical shapes to classic holiday flavors, these calendars make everyday of December a sweet surprise.

4. Gingerbread Ice Cream Sandwiches

When I think of gingerbread cookies, I think of fresh out of the oven warm goodness, but trust me they are just as good cold. The Trader Joe’s gingerbread ice cream sandwiches, unsurprisingly, sandwich vanilla ice cream between two gingerbread cookies. This new take on a holiday classic can be enjoyed right out of the freezer– or once it gets cold enough, maybe they could be kept outside!

3. Peppermint Brookie

The Trader Joe’s brookie is a year round staple, but imagine it with a holiday twist. With a gooey brownie on the bottom, peppermint sugar cookie and peppermint chips to top it off, I can confirm these are everything you would imagine. Not only are they the perfect winter treat but also an easy last minute dessert that can be enjoyed at any holiday gathering.

2. Dark Chocolate-Covered Peppermint Cremes

With a sweet peppermint filling coated in dark chocolate and topped with crushed peppermint, these treats are the definition of holiday spirit. This new edition in the 2025 Trader Joe’s lineup is a simple combination, but sure to be a festive favorite year after year. They are the perfect addition to a holiday cookie tray or holiday party treat.

1. Sleigh Ride Cookies

This new cookie is a fun mix of textures and holiday flavors. Starting with a sugar cookie dough base, this treat is sprinkled with crushed candy cane pieces and broken-up Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s Cookies. The perfect treat to grab right out of the box or to pair with some hot cocoa!

Addie Phillips is a sophomore excited and ready to begin her second year on Tatler. She is looking forward to getting to know more people through interviewing and becoming more involved in the St. Mary’s community. Addie enjoyed her summer spending time with family and friends and loved hanging out by the pool. She also has been practicing soccer over the summer too and is ready for the season to begin. In addition to soccer, Addie enjoys track and is looking forward to her third year on the team. When Addie isn’t busy with sports, you could find her doing art, hanging out with friends, or watching a good show. If Addie had to be in one show, she would be in Gossip Girl because she loves the idea of going to school in New York.

MC Hitt, Editor-in-Chief

MC Hitt is a senior and is excited to spend her third year on Tatler as Editor-in-Chief. She enjoys listening to classics like the Beatles and Billy Joel, and has played the clarinet/bass clarinet in band for all of high school. She spent her summer as a counselor at Camp Hopewell where she, voluntarily, got in a trash can four separate times. One week she had a camper who would write their name on MC’s toes every day. If MC was a color, she would be yellow, because to her yellow symbolizes happiness and kindness, and she believes the world needs more of both. She also has a dog named Rosie! As the editor-in-chief, she is excited to foster a fun, comfortable community within the publication.
