Lyla Furlong, Assistant Editor-in-Chief
Lyla Furlong is a sophomore at St. Mary’s and is Tatler’s assistant editor-in-chief. It is her second year on Tatler, and she is so excited to continue her high school journalism career. In her free time, she enjoys playing competitive tennis, which she has done since she was five years old. Lyla is also on the track team at St. Mary’s. She is a sprinter and does the long-jump as well as the triple jump. In addition to Tatler, she is involved in Youth in Government, which also comes with Model UN. Lyla would love to spend some time outside of the United States, potentially even going to university abroad. For post-secondary, she’s interested in Communications and Journalism, with a focus in international media. If Lyla were a mythological creature, she would be a mermaid. Her mermaid self would have the ability to read minds.
