“Brokeback Mountain” follows Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist as they work as sheep herders on top of a mountain for extra cash. The two don’t get along at first, but eventually form an unlikely friendship atop the mountain as they are the only people there. Slowly, their friendship turns into romance, which gets complicated as they start families of their own off of the mountain. This movie is so tragically romantic, and always brings tears to my eyes no matter how many times I watch it. My favorite scene is probably their argument on the mountain because it’s just so iconic. I think this is one of my favorite movies of all time, and will recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic film to watch on Valentine’s Day to anyone looking for a romantic film to watch on Valentine’s Day.
