If you haven’t heard of this movie, you must not use the internet because iconic scenes and songs from this favorite flooded TikTok in 2022. Plus, it’s one of the most famous rom-coms ever. Kate Hudson, playing an advice columnist, is looking for a new story and takes on the challenge of “getting a man to leave you” in 10 days. She’s not the only one in it for a bet, however, as the man she finds believes he can make any woman fall in love with him in 10 days. Although the ending may not shock you (spoiler alert: they end up falling in love), the movie is full of hilarious and witty interactions between the two as each one is completely clueless of the other’s motives. I think Hudson and McConaughey play a fantastic on-screen couple, both playing smart and extroverted characters. It’s fun as an audience member to be the only one who knows that each of them is actually tricking the other and watching how their schemes play out. And if that’s not enough, you get to watch Matthew McConaughey.
