About the Contributors
Wallis Rogin, Editor-in-Chief
Senior Wallis Rogin is a passionate writer thrilled to kick off her fourth year on Tatler as Editor-in-Chief. This summer, Wallis studied at the Medill-Northwestern Journalism Institute, and can’t wait to share what she learned with the Tatler staff. She believes the team will collaborate to produce well-written and well-researched stories for the St. Mary’s community’s consumption. Wallis thrives outdoors and enjoys hiking and biking, while also playing on the St. Mary’s soccer and tennis teams. Her favorite activities in Memphis are visiting Overton Park and attending concerts to see her favorite local music artists, including Mt. Joy and Caamp. As much as she loves her hometown, Wallis’s favorite place she has visited is Iceland because it doesn’t get dark in the summer. Wallis is such a kind person and takes her job seriously by always listening to the staff’s ideas and including each member at every meeting. We are so lucky to have her!
Lilly Coggin, Artist/Reporter
An imaginative master of the arts, sophomore Lilly Coggin is excited to contribute to the artist's guild of Tatler. She sees her role on Tatler as a way to express her creativity and as an impactful way to contribute to social commentary through art. When she's not drawing, she enjoys playing guitar, participating in St. Mary’s theater productions and crocheting clothes. She is currently working on a pink and white patchwork cardigan. Later in her life, Lilly would like to have a black and white tuxedo cat named Charles Dickens (Mr. Dickens for short) and pursue a career in architecture. She is looking forward to an inspiring and memorable first year on Tatler.
