In the the movie “Horton Hears a Who,” the infamous puffball creature named Katie lives in a world where “everyone is a pony, and they all eat rainbows, and poop butterflies.” While sophomore Mary Elizabeth Dyer’s world, of course, doesn’t look exactly like Katie’s, it’s surprisingly similar in a very metaphorical way. An avid lover of the color pink and the act of smiling, she also loves one more thing…school! While she certainly loves classes and homework, what she really loves about school is socializing with all her fellow turkeys, a passion that can be seen in her dedication to her role as StuCo secretary, as well as her commitment to the mock trial team. Mary Elizabeth is super excited for her first year on Tatler, so don’t be surprised if she walks up and starts a conversation – it could be an interview…or maybe she just wants to be your friend!
